Lay’s Forno products contain 60 percent less fat and 20 percent less sodium than regular potato chips. The products are packed in a matte film that provides a premium feel to the product, and then are then load into a premium self-display unit.
PepsiCo AMEA announced the launch of Lay’s Forno in the Saudi Arabia region — the first ever Lay’s product in the Middle East and Africa region. Forno, meaning baked in Italian, is the localized version of Baked Lay’s. The product was developed specifically for the Gulf Markets and is available in two flavors — Salt & Black Pepper and Authentic Cheese.
